"Standing Ovation" video trailer shot in Bogota Colombia

The General Monks were recently in Bogota Colombia performing a couple shows. During their stay down there they finished shooting the video for “Standing Ovation” which was the first single that was leaked on the album that was dropped earlier this year.

As you can see from the trailer, this video is gonna be as hot as the lyrics and beat on this track. This album has been receiving nothing but rave reviews and we are proud to have been able to be part of it. We want to send a shootout to all the people in Columbia during the shoot as well as everyone who has been down with us since we started out on this venture. Stay tuned…

ESBE X General Monks X 86 Clothing

This past weekend on Saturday July 30th we held our inStore with the General Monks where they performed cuts off the Each Step Becomes Elevated LP. The event was a great success and we would like to thank everyone who showed up. The event was held at 86 Clothing in Covina, make sure to stop in and pick up some pieces to get fresh for the rest of summer. A big Thank you to Rocky and PBoss for having us. The event was hosted by Pawz1 and Wackoe from the Bside show.

Ryan the Camera Dude Spencer was behind the lens and took some great shots. He also directed our “Bar Season” video which is the summer anthem if you ask me! Ryan snapped away as Rae went through some wardrobe changes and Rae’s son even got into the mix for a few flicks. “WuTang is for the babies” as ODB said!

In Store @86Clothing in Covina w/ General Monks

July 30th, 2011 Mark your calendars and be sure to attend this huge event for ESBE Clothing, 86 Clothing store and General Monks (Planet Asia and TriState).

We will be releasing new designs, along with the General Monks performing the Each Step Becomes Elevated street LP that we sponsored and dropped May 31st. Planet Asia and TriState will be returning from an Canadian/East Coast tour so you know they will be hyped up to be performing back in CA!!! For those of you that are 21+ be sure to arrive early to get first picks at the new tee’s. Be sure to spend at least $30 to ensure your wristband for the after party as well! We will be having drinks and music, so come enjoy a Saturday and walk with us on this journey!

"Bar Season" video off General Monk LP

This is “Bar Season” directed by Ryan Spencer and produced by Asterix. We shot this video on a sunny Saturday in Pasadena CA and just had a great time with it. As you can see we had plenty of drinks at the pre party before we headed out to the club for the final shots.

Just want to send a special thank you to Mr. Brown for being so generous with the location and for the bottles…we also want to thank everyone else who was there that day for the shoot and hope you all had as much fun as we did!!!
